Cargo Protection

Insurance coverage complies with the active London Institute cargo clauses (ICC): 

Institute Cargo Clauses (A) – 1.1.2009

Covers all risks of loss or damage to cargo, except those explicitly excluded.

Institute Cargo Clauses (B) – 1.1.2009

Covers explicitly listed risks and applies to specific cases of sea or combined transport.

Institute Cargo Clauses (C) – 1.1.2009

Provides basic coverage. Widely used mainly for insuring metals, liquid and bulk cargo, ores, coal, and similar goods, as well as second-hand or damaged items. 

• Risks from intentional acts or omissions of the Insured person or their representative
• Indirect damages and losses of any nature
• Weight difference
• Partial or total loss of contents with intact outer packaging
• Wetting of cargo transported in the open
• Ionizing radiation or radioactive contamination
• Radioactivity, toxicity, explosiveness
• Weapons using atomic or nuclear charges
• Risks for penalties
• Live animals, birds, and aquaculture
• Risks of seizure and confiscation
• Warranty risks, etc.
