We would like to reassure you that Groupama Insurance and Groupama Life Insurance have fully prepared their systems for the change of Bulgaria's official currency starting 1 January 2026. All necessary updates have been carried out in full compliance with applicable legal requirements, so no action is required on your part.

Between 19:00 on 30.12.2025 and 08:00 on 05.01.2026, we will carry out the technical reconfiguration of our systems for euro operations. Groupama's products and services will be temporarily unavailable to employees, clients, and partners during this window.

All services will be restored gradually, and after 08:00 on 05.01.2026 all currently available functionalities will be fully operational again.

Since banks across the country will also be updating their systems for the euro transition, we recommend that our clients and partners arrange to sign or renew their insurance contracts and settle any outstanding insurance premium payments before 30.12.2025.

Please note that the official exchange rate for converting the national currency to the euro is EUR 1 = BGN 1.95583. All data in our systems will be automatically converted using this rate on 01.01.2026.
