As of late September, updates to consumer protection and distance financial services regulations introduced specific requirements regarding the right of withdrawal from online contracts.

Under these rules, for distance contracts concluded via an online interface, providers must offer consumers an easy way to submit an online statement of withdrawal. The request must be submitted within the statutory time limits for contract termination.
