Nearly 680 students and teachers from Sofia can now proudly call themselves "Lifesavers". Thanks to Groupama, they completed first aid training courses and workshops, learning how to provide skilled help during accidents before an ambulance arrives.

Groupama Insurance partnered with the "First Three Minutes" Foundation to deliver these courses in capital schools фондация "Първите три минути". Thanks to this collaboration, between October and December 2024, students and teachers gained up-to-date first aid knowledge and skills.

This initiative is part of Groupama Group's global "Lifesavers" program. In Bulgaria, we focus on first aid training from an early age на децата. Our school program equips students and teachers with modern skills to respond effectively in emergencies.

Including first aid in the school curriculum is vital, as emergency response skills can save lives. Everyone in society, including children, should know how to act in critical moments. Early training fosters responsibility and willingness to help, while training teachers in modern methods ensures these life-saving skills are taught correctly.

It is a step toward a healthier, more responsible community where everyone helps keep others safe.
