Human capital development initiatives at Groupama Insurance and Life Insurance were recognized in one of the most prestigious national competitions for corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and diversity.

At a special ceremony for the 20th Annual Responsible Business Awards, Groupama received recognition for its "Lifesavers" program, which provides first aid training and preparation.

This year's competition, organized for the 20th consecutive time by the Bulgarian Forum of Business Leaders, saw a record 134 entries. Groupama awarded third place in the "Investor in Human Capital and Working Conditions" category, competing alongside 17 other companies.

In 2022, all Groupama Bulgaria employees completed first aid training and received Bulgarian Red Cross certification for their skills. They also became ambassadors for the idea that anyone can become a "Lifesaver" by providing first aid in emergency situations.

This year, Groupama Bulgaria continues its efforts to help more people become "Lifesavers", aiming to train hundreds on how to respond before medical help arrives.

The "Lifesavers" program runs across France, Greece, Italy, Tunisia, Turkey, Bulgaria, China, Hungary, and Romania, aiming to raise awareness and deliver practical first aid training. All international branches of the French banking and insurance group are joining forces to achieve a shared goal: training 1 million people in first aid.
