Main responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Identify, scope, and develop AI/ML solutions to automate and streamline critical insurance workflows (e.g., claims intake, document processing).
- Model Development & Deployment: Build, train, and deploy production-grade machine learning models, ensuring high performance, scalability, and adherence to MLOps best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analyst and Business team from different directorates into robust, data-driven AI solutions.
- Data & System Integration: Engineer and manage data pipelines necessary for AI model training and integration with legacy insurance systems using APIs
Keys competencies expected:
- 2+ years of experience as a Python software developer.
- Proven experience designing and deploying AI/ML systems in production environments
- Strong proficiency in Python, with knowledge of Python frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, etc.).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with API development and integration (RESTful APIs).
- Knowledge of best practices in software development, including version control (Git, BitBucket) and unit testing.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP) and cloud-based services.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
- Solid problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and the ability to debug complex systems.
- Good understanding of HTTPS and Enterprise security.
- Prompt engineering
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with HTML, CSS. JavaScript, Linux, Docker and Bash.
- Previous experience in the Insurance, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries
